

About the project
Toh Wai Wai means growing fast Toh Wai Wai was once projected under the SeaYouTomorrow project, which aims to preserve, restore the ecosystem and restore balance to nature. Singha Estate has collaborated with professor, university, government and local communities at Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, Krabi Province to drive the project and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 14, Life below water.
Objectives
- To restore coral reef resources and the health of the sea.
- To create knowledge and understanding on the protection and restoration of marine resources based on academic principles.
- To promote beauty and proper eco-tourism to tourists and the public.
Outcome
- Coral reefs can recover and improve.
- Stakeholders are aware of and understand the work, including the sustainable protection and restoration of marine resources.
- Tourists understand and can behave appropriately when visiting various areas.
Activities
Activities under the project include:
- Mangrove planting
- Coral planting
- Crown fish release
Participants include volunteers, community members, students,
hotel staff, park rangers, and BEDO organizations.
